I made this building blocks for my son to play with, and it turned out to be worth of sharing.

Basically you have a base block, and then you can add various textures to it and join it with a coupler.

NO MAGNETS REQUIRED

The bond between blocks is really strong, you can lift 30-40 of them on one joint. That makes the construction really sturdy. 

I made a few print profiles already, but I hope the community will also participate, so feel free to remix this design.

To join blocks together, you will to need to print the couplers as well. From my experience, print a lot of them ;)

It is quite hard to assembly at the beginning, but then you'll find a handy way to do this. 

Kids under the age of 6 may have a problem though.

Please watch after the kids under 3yo, because there are some small elements in the set.
