Model Description

✨ Design Inspiration This model draws its inspiration from a treasured artifact in the Xuchang City Museum: the “Han Dynasty Figure with Shield on a Paifang” Brick Relief. We have creatively reimagined this two-thousand-year-old, flat, Han-era architectural motif and its solemn guard figure as a whimsical, “Q-style” three-dimensional sculpture. The model retains the classic double-eaved, tiered roof structure of the Han paifang, as well as the central feature of the figure holding a shield and standing guard at the base. In this way, a weighty historical artifact is transformed into a rounded, adorable, and heartwarming cultural-creative trendy figurine that brings a touch of healing to your desk!

💡 Model Features

  • A New Take on an Ancient Artifact: A seamless fusion of Han architectural aesthetics and the cute, pop-inspired style of modern blind-box toys, with a round, endearing, and lovable figure design.
  • Exquisite Detailing: The corrugated lines of the roof, as well as the clear outlines of the figure’s shield and weapons, strike a perfect balance between cuteness and historical authenticity.
  • Versatile Use: Ideal as a desktop ornament, a tea pet, or a miniature architectural element for dioramas. It can be displayed as-is, or customized by paint enthusiasts—feel free to draw inspiration from the color schemes of Terracotta Warriors or Han Dynasty pottery figures, or get creative and give it a blind-box-style paint job.

🖨️ Printing Tips

  • Recommended Technology: We strongly recommend using a resin-based (SLA/DLP) 3D printer. As shown in the demonstration images, printing with high-transparency resin, matte semi-transparent resin, or washable resin will produce an exquisitely smooth, high-end texture reminiscent of ice sculptures, crystal, or jade.
  • FDM Printing: Standard FDM printers (PLA, PETG, ABS) are also compatible. To fully capture the fine details of the figure’s face and the eaves, we suggest setting the layer height to 0.12 mm or less.
  • Support Structures: Be sure to add robust support under the four corners of the paifang’s flying eaves, as well as beneath the figure’s outstretched weapon and shield. Tree-like supports are recommended for easy removal and to protect the model’s surface.
  • Filling Percentage: A filling rate of 15%–20% is sufficient to ensure structural strength.
