- Overall Form: The beetle adopts a creeping posture, with its body assembled from geometrically stylized mechanical modules—the head, thorax, and abdomen (elytra) are each distinct yet intricately interconnected, faithfully mimicking the biological structure of a beetle while reimagining it through the lens of “mechanical parts.” For example, the head is a combination of “gears + cylinders,” the thorax features a “frame + linkages,” and the elytra are rendered as “textured shell structures.”
- Head Details: The head is a mechanical assembly of circles and polygons, with a pair of antennae at the front—each antenna composed of “thin rods paired with small spheres or gears.” The compound eyes are depicted as two deep, hollow circular apertures (or simplified into “ring-shaped recesses”), while the mouthparts are reduced to a small, mechanically articulated biting mechanism (such as trapezoidal protrusions), lending the entire head a cool, almost “precision instrument”‑like aesthetic.
- Thorax and Elytra: The thorax takes the form of a “T‑shaped” or “H‑shaped” mechanical framework, adorned with intricate details like rivets, grooves, and linkages that echo the exoskeletal joints found in insects. The elytra—those hard, dorsal shells—are elliptical in shape, their surfaces etched with subtle mechanical textures such as spiral patterns, gear-like motifs, or simplified “beetle markings.” Along the edges, small protrusions and interlocking tabs mimic the opening and closing mechanisms of beetle elytra.
- Legs and Posture: The six legs are constructed from “joints + rod‑like structures”, with the forelegs slightly raised and the middle and hind legs firmly planted on the ground. At each leg joint, prominent round or square protrusions simulate mechanical pivots, while the overall posture exudes a strong sense of pent-up energy ready to unleash—as if poised for crawling or defensive action.
