Height: 10 cm, Material: PLA
During the Tang Dynasty, the Yue Kiln was renowned for itsoctagonal bottlesas a hallmark style—such as the celadon octagonal purification vase unearthed from the underground palace of Famen Temple. These vessels typically feature a straight mouth, elongated neck, and octagonal body, with a lustrous, jade‑green glaze. Crafted using individual firing within porcelain saggars, they represent the pinnacle of Yue Kiln’s secret‑colored porcelain during the Tang Dynasty. Their intended use likely revolved around Buddhist rituals, where they served as ritual purification vases.
