I previously created a one-piece, integrated‑print version of a creative folding fruit tray based on online designs—Folding Fruit Tray (One‑Piece Design) by Huozhai – MakerWorld. The tray measures 18 cm × 18 cm and is perfectly suited for printing with the A1 mini. Many users commented that the size was a bit too small and expressed interest in a larger version. So I redesigned it from scratch, resulting in this new iteration, which measures 22 cm × 24 cm—just the right size to fully cover a standard serving platter. When printing, make sure the build plate adheres securely at every point; by reducing the layer gap from 0.3 mm to 0.25 mm, you’ll prevent the model from feeling overly loose—as it did in the previous design. However, if your printer lacks sufficient stability, there’s still a chance some parts may stick together slightly (please don’t blame me for this—more often than not, the issue lies with your printer or filament, as I’ve tested layer gaps as low as 0.2 mm without any problems). I printed two test models, both of which moved smoothly and flexibly; I hope you can achieve the same success on your first try.

By the way, I used a layered color‑changing technique to produce a two‑color design. If you’d prefer a single color—or even more colors—you can easily adjust the settings directly in the slicing software.
