Celebrate the beauty and serenity of the Mid-Autumn Festival with this extremely complicated 3D printed string lamp.

The design features a sleeping half-moon gently resting among outlines of drifting clouds, wearing a silver nightcap adorned with a golden trim and a shining star. Beneath, two golden bunnies sleep, dreaming of a delicious cake.

Suspended above the moon is a vibrant red lantern, softly glowing to evoke the warmth of the festival night.

Adjacent is a golden mooncake with black outlines and two lively golden bunnies appear to leap joyfully in celebration, while a curious red bunny gazes on in quiet wonder.

The entire composition is gracefully supported by a temple-shaped frame and swirling cloud base, providing both structural balance and symbolic grounding. When illuminated, the piece casts a soft, dreamy light.

Perfect as a seasonal decoration or heartfelt gift, this lamp embodies reunion, warmth, and the gentle glow of the moon that connects loved ones across distances.

The framing was a bit thin and some sagging occured, I have since reinforced it and it should be stronger now.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Print everything out. Attach the mooncake, rabbits and the red rabbit.

To insert the eyes and mouth on the moon face, go in with the side that was touching the buildplate, you will have an easier time.

Assemble the two pieces by applying glue on one half, and inserting it into the base. Carefully add the second hal, making sure the bottom half is connected, the moon and followed by the top half. You should have no issues, but if you do let me know in the comments.

Do not use cold plates or excessive glue, taking the print off may damage the strings. Most models with strings only use a single 0.24 layer high string, I use two. That way, if one fails, the other usually does not. The visual is pretty much the same.

To light it you will need the standard 3AAA RGBW pucks, either from Aliexpress or bambu lab.

Here is a link from a seller I used before, you get 3 pucks for a euro

- Search “rgbw pucks aaa” on aliexpress and pick the best deal for you. It shouldnt cost more than a euro each

Relatively simple, assemble the two halves using an assembly jig in the profile, it is basically two rings that will fit exactly to the two halves, just make sure you put a paper down so the glue doesn't leak and ruin your table (ask me how I know). There are nubs in the provided bases and it will keep it in place for a desktop stand, but carrying it around without gluing it, is not advised… if you are happy with it and do not wish to reuse the base for my other models, go ahead and glue it.

Also, DO NOT change layer size because then the mid air strings may fail. Any issues, let me know.
