Leo Ultraman is the protagonist of Tsuburaya’s tokusatsu series, “Ultraman Leo.”

A warrior of fire hailing from Leo, specifically Planet L77, Leo was forced to wander the cosmos after his homeworld was destroyed. After landing on Earth, he adopted the alias “Feng Yuan” and began living as a young man, treating Earth as his second home. Following the defeat of Ultraman Seve, Leo took up the mantle of Earth’s protector, joining the Universal Patrol Force MAC, where he battled fierce monsters and alien invaders [1].

At first, Leo was relatively weak, but under the rigorous guidance of Ultraman Seve’s human alter ego, Shosei Dan, he gradually honed his skills and grew into a formidable Ultraman warrior, vanquishing one powerful foe after another—and becoming a master of cosmic martial arts. Later, with the help of the King of the Ultramen, Leo was reunited with his younger brother, Astra [49]. On the King of the Ultramen’s recommendation, Leo and Astra became part of the Ultraman Brothers [20], working together to defeat Commander Black and the final Discoid Lifeform, Black Endo, before ultimately eradicating Planet Black and departing Earth [2]. Today, Leo serves as a member of the Land of Light’s Universal Security Force, and also acts as the mentor to Ultraman Zero, the son of Ultraman Seve, guiding and nurturing Zero’s growth.
