The model was trimmed at one corner to allow it to be printed in an inclined, upright position. This approach not only helps minimize layer lines but also eliminates the need for support structures—without compromising print quality, as verified through testing.

If you were to print the model lying flat instead, surface layer lines might become more pronounced, and the powder distribution effect could suffer.

Due to material properties and FDM printing tolerances, some powder adhesion is inevitable. Alternatively, you might try using a smaller layer height—though this will increase print time.

Or, you could give my other lightweight, portable powder trowel a try; it offers excellent powder adhesion control, and simply rotating and pressing the trowel directly over the build plate has minimal impact on the overall result.
