Since the ice maker at the office can’t be controlled remotely or scheduled for automatic operation, it’s a bit inconvenient to have to head to the office every day just to turn it on. To address this, we equipped the ice maker with a push-button controller that connects to the Mi Home app—operated via a servo motor for physical button presses—allowing users to remotely control the device and set up scheduled开机 times. We used Shapr3D to design a custom enclosure with a fixed base, ensuring the device sits securely on the ice maker’s control panel while also being easily removable for charging.
