I designed these pins so they could be stuck to a world map we have, and then I linked each NFC pin to an online cloud storage hosting photo's we have taken from various locations around the world. Now we can simply walk up to the the map, tap the pin at that location and boom we can see all the photo's of that location on our phones.

I also use the pins to run automations around the house e.g. I have one next to my bed which when i tap my phone against it turns on/off the bedroom light, another one that turns on/off the heater. I have one in the garage so i can tap my phone on it and the garage door opens (my wife always misplaces the remote…).

The NFC chips themselves are very cheap off Amazon/Temu/Aliexpress, and the 2 sided sticky dots are also very cheap. modal can be scaled to fit bigger NFC Chip sizes if required.
