I present a print-in-place articulated Giraffe with 15 joints. Requires no assembly except for the removal of a designed support for the tail. The loose joints make for a fun toy to play with but is difficult to get standing. Robust enough to survive playing with my kids for hours.
Printed with 0.2 mm layer height without support and no brim. However, this print requires good bed adhesion so clean your bed before printing to reduce the risk of parts coming off and/or use a brim.
If scaling, I would not recommend going lower than 75% as joints will become too weak and might also fuse.
This model is also a fun to paint with some acrylics, making a stunning looking giraffe.
