Model Description

This is a simple yet sturdy mount designed for the EMAX ES08MD servo. The goal was to create a reliable and easy-to-print bracket that allows secure mounting of the servo for robotics, RC models, or other DIY automation projects.

 

The design prioritizes ease of printing—no supports are required when oriented correctly—and uses a minimal amount of material while maintaining rigidity. The mount includes countersunk and through-holes for easy fastening with standard screws, ensuring compatibility with common servo hardware.

 

Printing Requirements

 

  • Print orientation: Upright, with the flat base on the bed for maximum strength
  • Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Recommended infill: 25–35% (increasing infill adds rigidity for high-torque applications)
  • No supports required

 

 

Assembly Instructions

 

  1. Print the mount in PLA, PETG, or ABS (PETG recommended for added toughness).
  2. Secure the servo into the mount using the built-in screw holes.
  3. Attach the mount to your frame, chassis, or base using standard M2/M3 fasteners.
