I made this pool cover reel to replace the previous one, which was broken.

The model was created in Fusion 360. I first made a prototype in PLA to validate the various parts, and then made the final version in ASA, except for the gears and spools, which were made of PETG.

To print the main body, cut it into two parts in ElegooSlicer (dovetail mode), about 1 cm below the circular part (see photos).

Assembly is first done by assembling the outer flange and the handle support arm with M6 stainless steel countersunk screws, 20 mm minimum length, and M6 Nilstop nuts. Then, distribute the intermediate gears between the main body (previously assembled) and the outer flange. To close, place the inner flange, then the aluminum unwinder bar, and secure with a 70 or 80 mm long M6 Allen screw and M6 Nilstop nuts. If necessary, drill the aluminum bar with a 7 mm drill bit to insert the Allen screw.
