💡 MAAM-Lamp (Modular Articulated Arm for Multiboard) is a fully poseable jointed arm designed to hold a USB lamp, tool, camera, or other accessories – great for 3D printing and electronics workstations.
🔄 This is a remix combining:
The clavicle joint structure from Dummy 13 Printables Source- Changes: Extended Neck and Resize.
The Big Threads from Multiboard Thangs Source - Changes: Merge to a clavicle and remade sphere.
🛠️ Mounting Options
✔️ Screw it directly into your Multiboard wall using the big thread base.
✔️ Or do what I did: print a small Multiboard plate and mount it to your tabletop using screws (see the pictures). It's super solid and lets you position the arm wherever you need it most. Here is a 2x2 if you need it.
🧵 Printing Tips I originally printed this in PLA, but over time the joints loosened and became floppy (like a rag doll). That’s because PLA will creep under stress—especially on jointed arms like this.
🔁 I reprinted the arm in PETG, and the difference was night and day. The joints stay firm, even under weight. Just note: I needed a brim to get good bed adhesion.
✨ This setup works beautifully with the Bambu USB LED Lamp kit001, making it a compact, adjustable lighting solution for any workspace.
