This is a twist-lock porthole/filament guide for use with IKEA Lack table enclosures. The Lack table top is 50mm thick so the original Thing wouldn't work for it.

Drill a 38mm (or 1.5 inch) hole into the top of your Lack table, insert the main flange, insert the nozzle from the bottom, then twist the cap on. The cap will hold the nozzle in place and there is a lip in the main flange to keep it from moving up.

The nozzle has a 4.3mm hole which (when printed on my machine) just barely fit a 4mm PTFE bowden tube. You may need to drill the hole larger to suit your purpose. If the swivel doesn't move smoothly, chuck the small tip up in a drill, hold on to the collar and spin away. This will knock down any high spots. Added some Super Lube for good measure.
