Here's a tool carousel I created in 123D Design. It holds all of my various tools, knives, rulers, calipers, etc. It works very well.
The assembly is also included. You will the following:
-Quite a few 10mm steel balls: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008ZZWEUG/
-Rollerblade bearing
-Approx 6" of 5/16-18 All-Thread and a couple of nuts.
