This is my version of the Locust SMG from the Mass Effect series. I've printed and painted an earlier version of these files. I added a few cosmetic details and adjusted some tolerances so the parts were easier to line up for gluing together.

I've documented by design process in Solidworks here. I'm still trying to find a satisfactory way to make the transparent block for the LEDs to shine through.

I have not yet printed this iteration of the files, but the only changes made were to round off some corners and add some cosmetic grooves. Nothing that should affect the way it prints, and the files have been repaired with Netfabb just as a precaution.

Since other projects of mine have ended up being reuploaded other places (and nobody ever asked first), I stuck my name on one of the bigger parts. It won't be visible when assembled, but it'll be one way I can keep tabs on my work.

Edit: Added some .eps files for the lettering and logo/symbol on the Locust, for those with access to something that can cut out vinyl.
