3d printable downspout adapter that slips over the downspout and can snap into 4" corrugated drainage pipe, or sit in a 4" non-corrugated PVC pipe.

These adapters are usually available at the hardware store and made of durable HDPE that weathers much better outside, so I recommend the store bought version if you can get it.

If you can't get a premade one, this should do in a pinch. This print can be much cheaper though - costing about 1/10th the price of the hardware store version. (As of 1/21/25, $12USD retail vs ~$1.50USD in filament). The topology is optimized for 3d printing, so there are no overhangs. I expect the freeze/thaw cycle will start ripping apart the layers in a season or two, so this should not be considered a good long term solution. (I'd love to be wrong though)!

I've included a parametrized f360 file, so you can adapt it to your own needs.

Printing tips

• No supports required
• Low infill (5%)
• Recommended layer height: 0.2 - 0.30
• Recommended nozzle size: 0.4
• Consider printing with a brim if you have adhesion issues.
