Summary

The main objective of this concept was:

  1. to allow me to see the work in progress.
  2. increase the filament cooling by using 2 fans.
  3. BLTouch mounting trying to not compromising too much the left side air intake.
  4. Easy to print avoiding supports as much as possible. However some parts need them.

self-tapping screws was used to join the parts:
DIN 7982 - 2.2x9.5mm (diameter,height)

  • Notes:

I printed some parts with supports only in the critical areas, for example the two filament cooling parts.
I've printed some pieces with supports only in the critical areas, for example the two filament cooling pieces, but I think it's possible to print them without supports because the roofs, in the position where the pieces are, have a small distance.
This is important because the interior through which the air flows must be as smooth as possible so as not to create vortices that reduce the effectiveness of ventilation.
