As cruel as it is to take humor in someone else’s misery, the guilty pleasure is on high whenever I see a dog wearing a recovery collar. I guess the world falls back in balance when I break out into a sneezing fit every time I’m around pets. Both my wife and I are highly allergic to dogs and cats, but that doesn’t diminish our desire to share our lives with one. This is our attempt to cope with that unmet desire.

Meet Pedro! He’s a recovering French Bulldog shining the guilty pleasure light on those he meets. Don’t worry. He’s not suffering. He’s plastic.
