Einstein Tikius
Einstein Tikius is a collection of fictional tribal masks inspired by ancient ritual sculptures, fused with the instantly recognizable features of Albert Einstein. Somewhere between ancestral artifact and tribute to scientific genius, this creation imagines a forgotten civilization that elevated knowledge and curiosity to the status of divinity.
The collection includes two distinct interpretations:
Classic version → a wiser and more contemplative representation of the famous physicist, evoking an ancient guardian of knowledge.
Tongue-out version → inspired by Einstein’s most iconic photograph, transforming his playful expression into a ritual symbol of free thinking, humor, and intellectual boldness.
The masks feature a simplified tribal structure with powerful volumes, hollow eyes, an elongated nose, and bold geometric forms. Einstein’s iconic hair becomes a sculpted headdress reminiscent of feathers or bursts of energy, while his famous mustache is transformed into a ceremonial decorative element. The forehead wrinkles subtly symbolize accumulated knowledge, like ancient carvings passed down through generations.
The entire piece features a hand-carved wood texture, giving the impression of an ancient artifact sculpted from sacred timber by a forgotten civilization. The intentionally pronounced reliefs reinforce the handcrafted and ritualistic appearance.
Designed to be robust, stable, and easy to 3D print, the model favors thick reliefs, minimal fine details, and smooth transitions optimized for FDM printing. The result sits somewhere between a tribal mask, archaeological relic, and geek decorative object, creating a strange and amusing piece that seems to come from a world where physics replaced mythology.
Attachment holes have been integrated for those who wish to wear the mask (rescaling may be necessary depending on the wearer). A wall mount attachment compatible with both mask versions is included, allowing them to be displayed as hanging decorative pieces.
A display stand is currently available only for the classic (non-tongue) version. The tongue-out version has been designed to stand upright on its own without additional support. A dedicated stand for the tongue-out version is planned and will be added soon.
A sacred relic dedicated to the god of relativity… now available in both wise and irreverent versions. 🗿⚛🧠👅
