This model is not recommended for beginners to print directly; special attention must be paid to heat dissipation when printing the branches, and some parameters should be manually adjusted.

Design notes:The Chinese plum-blossom bonsai features astone base, deliberately crafted with diagonal textures to simulate the effect ofwind and sand erosionon natural rock. The trunk and branches are printed separately and joined using dowel pins; however, to avoid damaging the branches and petals during assembly due to overly tight pins, thedowel-pin design is intentionally slightly looser. A total of 59 plum blossoms are designed, with petals and stamens printed using different materials. Overall assembly requires a certain level of hands-on skill and patience.

Printing recommendations:The branch sections are the primary focus; ensure adequate heat dissipation. When using a closed-box printer, it is recommended to open the chamber during printing, set the cooling fan to 100% power, and maintain the nozzle temperature between 205°C and 210°C.

Assembly recommendations:Each branch is equipped withdowel pins; after printing, simply insert these pins into the corresponding holes on the branch’s base. The branch surfaces are pre-drilled with alignment holes to position the flowers accurately. First assemble the flowers on each branch, then join them together as a whole. It is recommended to apply adhesive directly to the branches once their positions are aligned, which can significantly reduce assembly time.

Material selection:The materials shown in the images are Esun’s photochromic filaments (yellow and red), while the trunk is printed using wood-like filament. The base is finished in matte dark gray.
