Function and Purpose

Specifically designed for the ELEGOO CC2 resin-based 3D printer, this is an accessory for modifying the printer’s exhaust system. It mounts into a pre-drilled opening on the printer housing, channeling volatile resin fumes through a 50mm-diameter flexible hose to the outdoors, thereby reducing indoor odors and harmful emissions and improving the enclosed printing environment. The adapter features a threaded port that allows direct connection to a 50mm exhaust hose, ensuring superior sealing.

Recommended 3D Printing Settings

• : PETG (preferred—resistant to resin vapors and deformation; PLA is not recommended as it may soften and degrade under resin exposure)
• : No supports required; the model’s inherent self-supporting structure ensures excellent surface finish
• : ≥2mm to ensure structural integrity
• : 0.2mm, balancing print speed with smooth surface quality
• : Print with the base firmly attached to the build platform to maintain a flat flange surface

Usage Tips

For optimal performance, pair this adapter with a 50mm exhaust hose and a compact exhaust fan. When installing, apply a sealing gasket to the base to prevent exhaust gases from leaking through gaps.
