This clock uses the full 7-segment alphabet, which may be a bit confusing for characters that aren't typically seen on 7-segment displays. E.g "m"s "w"s and "x"s. Because of this the "Timr" text that shows up is a little funky.

This clock uses an accelerometer to detect shakes to change modes. The threshold is 3g (ish) so moving the clock normally won't trigger a mode change. Furthermore, there is a 3-second grace period between mode changes where the mode cannot be changed. This prevents the modes from rapidly cycling uncontrollably throughout the shake.
 

Modes

Clock: 24-hour format. Midday at startup. Dial adjusts time 
Stopwatch: Count-up from 0 with an external cycling animation
Timer: Spin the dial to set a time up to 99h. When the dial hasn't been touched for a couple seconds, the timer will automatically start. When the time is up, the display beeps and flashes 10 times. Then it is primed to be used again
Thermometer: The clock uses the RTC chip's internal thermometer. This has an accuracy of +-3C but it is enough to estimate ambient temperature. Spinning the dial changes C to F
