This is a remix of UKPenguins Flush riser, I've added a LED strip that has a touch On/Off/Dimmer function as as well as a Humidity Meter Indoor Thermometer to the front of the unit.  Originally I used the Round version of the humidity meter, but later redesigned the riser to work with the  square ones.  The LED strips are very bright and you could use more than one if you wanted to but I find one is more than enough.  The best part is the touch controlled dimmer that allows you to adjust the light just where you want it, it also allows for on and off function as well.  The dimmer will remember where you had the light set so you won't have to readjust every time you turn the LED off.  It has a flip up cover to protect the controls from accidental changes.

I run my LED strips off an external supply, this allows the light to stay on even if the printer is powered off.  This is a huge bonus if your working on the machine and need to see what your doing.  I added a hole on the right rear panel to allow for the wire to exit the printer, This allows for the connection to my external power supply that runs all my aux lighting.

I've also included the original round humidity meter design is case you'd prefer that one.  You'll notice that the meter has a opening at the back this is to allow heat and humility to better reach the sensor on the rear of the meters this allows for better readings.  The Amazon Links are as Follows

NOTE: The LED strips will need to be cut down to fit across the front and side areas.  Also they can run a bit hot so I recommend not mounting the strip with out using the extruded aluminum housing.  Cutting the extrusion can be done with a good set of cutters or a saw.  Using the Dimmer control keeps them running nice and cool.

Optional: I use outdoor double stick tape to hold the LED strips in place and zip tie holders for keeping the wire out the rear neatly routed
