The original 3M adhesive or hook-and-loop fastener options aren’t particularly convenient to use and tend to leave behind sticky residue. That’s why we designed this magnetic mounting case—simply attach it to metal surfaces like refrigerator doors. Be sure not to mount it on the side of the fridge, as some refrigerator sides can get quite warm.

The back features four magnets, each 5 mm in diameter and 1.5 mm thick—easy to source online for just a few yuan. When installing the magnets, apply gentle but firm pressure with a hard object to ensure they’re securely seated.

Mounting the temperature and humidity sensor is straightforward; just apply a bit of pressure to snap it into place within the printed housing.

If there are significant tolerances, you can make minor adjustments to the hole dimensions to compensate.
