I designed this Chamber Heater Adapter for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon to be a clean, secure, and fully reversible way to add active chamber heating to the printer—without drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications.

This model is an adapter that mounts directly to the internal spool holder assembly and holds both the heater and its cable neatly in place. It’s designed specifically to fit the Mini Heater for ELEGOO Saturn 3 Ultra, which can be found on AliExpress here:

Once installed, this setup allows the chamber temperature to reach up to ~50 °C, which makes a noticeable difference when printing engineering materials like ABS and ASA. Warping is reduced, layer adhesion improves, and prints are simply more consistent. The overall design stays compact and looks like it belongs inside the printer.

The solution is made of two simple parts:

• Heater holder
• Cable guide (slides into the holder via a dovetail)

Both parts are easy to print and assemble, and the installation uses the existing spool holder screws, so everything can be removed at any time if needed.

Printing Instructions

• Material: PETG or higher (PLA is not recommended due to heat)
• Walls: At least 3
• Supports: Enable normal supports
• Print both parts separately

Assembly Instructions

1. Insert the cable guide into the dovetail slot on the heater holder
2. Unscrew the four M3 screws holding the internal spool holder
3. Position the assembled heater holder + cable guide in place
4. Reinstall and tighten the four M3 screws

Optional:
You can add a couple of small pieces of heat-resistant double-sided tape to help hold the cable guide in place. I personally used VHB Double Sided Adhesive Acrylic Foam Tape 4229P, available here:
