Snowy Worm is a Pokémon that resembles a moth larva, with an all-white body and two black dots for eyes. Its entire body is covered in ice crystals, and it has two fleshy, bulbous mouthparts.

Snowy Worm feeds on the snow on the ground, particularly favoring freshly fallen, soft, powdery white snow. It will eat its way up toward the mountaintop. By consuming snow, it absorbs cold energy and uses internal organs to intensify the coldness, enabling it to grow sharp, icicle-like spines. The more it eats, the sturdier and more upright these spines become. It can also spin cold-infused silk threads, which it uses to suspend itself from tree branches—posing as an icicle while it sleeps.
