Soviet T-34 Tank
English: T-34 Medium Tank; Russian: T-34 ТАНК. It was a medium tank developed before World War II under the leadership of Mikhail Ilyich Koshkin, a designer at the Kharkiv Komintern Plant in the Soviet Union.
The T-34 had a combat weight of 32 tons, an engine power of 500 horsepower, a maximum road speed of 55 km/h, and a maximum range of 400 km. It was armed with a 76-mm tank gun, making it a tank that excelled in firepower, protection, and mobility.
From the 1940s to the 1950s, the Soviet Union produced a total of 84,070 T-34 tanks, primarily in two variants: the T-34/76, equipped with a 76.2-mm gun, and the T-34/85, equipped with an 85-mm gun. The T-34’s use of sloped armor design had a profound and revolutionary impact on the development of subsequent tank designs.
