This endplate is made to smoothly snap onto the back of your Shure SM7dB microphone. It uses D8x2mm magnets and sticks firmly to the two small screws at the back of the microphone. The magnets are friction fit, but also have space underneath designed to glue the magnets in place(if you wish to).
