Pneumatic fitting/Bowden tube connector cap for drybox which can accomodate filament

works with all type of filaments, from soft TPU to hard/brittle filaments.

This cap:

• prevents humidity of air to creep in the drybox
• allows the filament to prostrude out of the Pneumatic fitting/Bowden tube connector
• allows the filament to be easily pulled-out and pushed into the Bowden tube
• protects the prostruding filament from becoming brittle & break off

• prevents filament to fall back inside the drybox

   

Integrated retainer also prevent the cap to be misplaced or lost. It stays attached to the Pneumatic fitting/Bowden tube connector 

Printing advices

I advise you to first print the “Pneumatic connector cap - shrinking test” and check that the current model dimension fits your setup.

If it's not the case, just scale up or down the model dimensions directly in the slicer.

The model takes into account the retraction of TPU for a 10mm hex fitting to ensure sufficient fit to prevent air humidity to enter the drybox
