After six years of intense, high‑intensity dancing with my original Switch Joy‑Con wrist straps—specifically the white buckle—I finally wore the buckle out. Since replacing the entire Joy‑Con wrist strap would be quite expensive, I decided to refurbish the buckle using another intact strap’s buckle component, which fit perfectly. The original buckle was made from ABS plastic; while PLA may not be as durable as ABS, it’s held up just fine after more than a month of regular use. I recommend printing with a layer height of 0.2 mm or lower.
