Important Notes:

Assembly requires the use of adhesive—9400 or 9406 glue is highly recommended for its strong bonding performance.

The basic frame can be easily snapped together; simply apply a thin layer of glue to secure it in place. Refer to the main image for guidance.

None of the printed components require support structures—only the handle features a skirted edge to ensure print stability, while the rest of the parts are fully self-supporting. [The slicing profile has been optimized and does not need adjustment.]

The decorative elements are highly customizable, offering ample room for creative expression. Feel free to design fan blades that reflect your personal style and preferences.

Unleash your creativity and craft a unique wedding fan that’s as distinctive as you are—let’s see what beautiful variations you come up with!

This piece is a double-sided wedding folding fan inspired by traditional Chinese wedding culture, seamlessly blending phoenix and auspicious cloud motifs, cloisonné enamel-style patterns, and time-honored fan designs. Through meticulous modeling and 3D printing, we bring the exquisite beauty of Eastern craftsmanship to life, symbolizing lasting harmony, the phoenix’s graceful dance bringing good fortune, and blossoming prosperity.

🔴 Form and Structural Design

  • The fan blade adopts a dual-ring structure featuring an inner circle paired with an outer red frame, embodying the traditional wedding belief in “heavenly round, earthly square—perfectly balanced in pairs.”

  • Both sides of the fan are designed symmetrically, with patterns arranged in perfect bilateral symmetry, reflecting the unity of “double happiness” and shared hearts.

  • The handle is intricately carved with cloud motifs, their swirling lines interwoven in layers, carrying forward the auspicious symbolism of “clouds follow the dragon, winds follow the phoenix.”

🕊️ Reimagining Traditional Patterns

  • The phoenix design draws inspiration from classical paintings, with feathers that shimmer in vibrant hues and flowing, graceful lines.

  • A variety of floral motifs evoke traditional symbols of wealth and prosperity, representing continuous joy and lasting companionship for a lifetime.

  • The fan blade’s intricate patterns are rendered using the visual techniques of cloisonné enamel—rich, deep colors and finely detailed brushwork capture the refined elegance of classical court artistry.

The finished fan can be used as: a prop for wedding photoshoots, a decorative accent for Chinese-themed settings, a display piece showcasing intangible cultural heritage, or a heartfelt DIY gift.

As the phoenix soars gracefully, auspicious clouds drift lazily across the sky, and flowers bloom in full splendor—holding this fan in your hands fills you with a profound sense of ceremony and heartfelt blessings~

Note: The pendant hanging beneath the fan was added purely for aesthetic effect during photography—it was not 3D printed as part of the final product.

I currently don’t have any tassels available—but adding a few extra tassels would enhance the overall look and create an even more elegant, traditional feel.

We look forward to seeing your finished creations!
