Customizable Knight Key Cover

This 3D model features a stylized medieval knight designed as a functional key cover. The knight is fully armored with a closed helmet, detailed shoulder plates, and a chest piece accented with decorative trim. The character holds a sword in front, cleverly merging into the key itself.

Customize tutorial

To customize knight cover to your key you need to go into any modeling program (I used blender). Next you need to follow some easy steps to create holes to insert your key.

1. Create a cube and adjust it to the dimensions of the top of your key as shown in the picture.

   (For the key to fit perfectly, add 0.2mm from the top and 0.1mm from the X and Y sides)

    

   

2. Insert the knight_key_cover_customize.stl and cut a hole in it according to the dimensions of your cube.

    

   

3. Now change the Y dimension of your cube based on the thinnest part of the key as shown in the image.

    

   

4. Insert knight_key_cover_customize2.stl and without changing the position of your cube (if necessary, you can change the Z position) cut a hole in it.

    

   

5. Now print both parts, put your key in knight and close it all with the small cover (you can use some glue to secure your key).
