The original Ultimate Madoka figure has an issue where the weight of the figure is far out from where it attaches to the base. Over time this can cause the figure to fall and break. This support tries to reduce the risk of breakage by supporting the arm and taking some of the strain off the base.
The base of this support has one side with a bit of a curve to match the curve of the figure base. Tolerances are a bit tight at 0.3mm. I had to sand the stick ends slightly to get a nice fit. All the parts should be fine as a press-fit since the weight will keep them from separating.
While PLA will work, I recommend printing in PET-G or another filament that works better structurally as there will be constant pressure on the stand and the stick portion. The stand pictured was printed with Amolen Clear PET-G. While it's not perfect, it's a lot better than a solid color.
