The original design intention was to address the issue with the Freedom Gundam HG—due to the excessive weight of its dual wings, it simply couldn’t maintain a stable stance.

With this custom stand, the model can be positioned with remarkable stability,

and thanks to the stand’s slightly upward‑angled (5°) pin design,

it perfectly captures that iconic crotch‑raising pose.

Thus, this model was christened the “Articulated Standing Stand”
