Description

This vase features continuous vertical ribs that catch the light and give a soft, tactile look. The rounded “capsule” top keeps the silhouette elegant while the base is stable for easy printing. It works great as a decorative vase, desk accent, or as a sleeve for a small inner container. Scale it up or down in your slicer to match your space.

Printing

• Orientation: print upright on the base
• Supports: not required
• Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm for extra crisp ribs)
• Walls: 3–4 (for durability) — or enable Spiral/Vase Mode for a lightweight decorative piece
• Top layers: 0 (vase mode) / 4–5 (standard)
• Bottom layers: 3–5
• Infill: 0% (vase mode) / 12–15% (standard)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.6 mm for faster prints and bolder ribs)
• Tip: slow outer walls a bit and align the seam to the back for the cleanest look.

Materials

PLA matte or silk for décor; PETG if you plan to use it as a planter sleeve. Not guaranteed watertight—use an inner container or seal if you want water inside.

Scaling

The model scales cleanly; increase uniformly for larger arrangements or downsize for a narrow shelf or bud vase.
