I needed a compass for school, so I decided to make my own. It is a simplistic design that works quite well, and fits most pencils.

Items needed:

• 3x Small M3 bolts
• 1x M3 nut
• 1x Small washer
• 1x M3 wingnut (I used a spare one from the heatbed on the Duplicator i3)
• A small piece of rubber. Used to provide friction between the two pieces of plastic. (I cut a piece from an old bicycle tube)
