Small clamp 0.6mm nozzle:
2 walls, 30% grid - Weakest suggested
3 walls, 35% grid - Medium suggested
4 walls, 40% grid - Strongest suggested
Print tip with 1 wall
Large clamp 0.6mm nozzle:
4 walls, 15% honeycomb - Weakest suggested
6 walls, 20% honeycomb - Medium suggested
8 walls, 25% honeycomb - Strongest suggested
Print tip with 2 walls
Adjust these settings according to your nozzle, scale, and material shore hardness
I used Bambulab's TPU 95A for these clamps.
After several hours of clamping, the TPU may deform. This does not affect the performance, and it will return back to it's original form after some time without clamping.
The TPU should be glued to the handles, especially if you scale the model down. Apply extra glue to the following regions:
