Design Concept

This piece recreates a traditional Jiangnan-style double‑storey pavilion, featuring a staggered two‑level structure with classic upturned eaves and roof corners, complete with finely rendered tile‑ridge textures. The entire structure boasts Chinese‑style openwork lattice doors and windows, along with a second‑floor perimeter railing offering panoramic views, creating a refined, airy sense of depth. It also comes with an integrated flat base, exuding a strong traditional Chinese aesthetic.

Printing Process Description

1. The model is designed in separate components, printed individually, and then assembled using 502 glue after printing;

For the first floor, the main hollowed‑out cantilevered sections require tree‑like supports during printing, as standard supports are difficult to remove and may damage the delicate lattice details. Smaller elements such as the upper loft and roof can be supported with simple, minimal supports as needed;

3. We do not recommend using black filament for printing. Opting instead for light‑colored, transparent, or pastel‑toned filaments will highlight the intricate hollowed‑out patterns and layer‑by‑layer textures, resulting in a cleaner, more visually appealing finish. Additionally, these pieces lend themselves well to hand‑painting and customization later on.
