As a “long-time Naruto fan” who grew up watching the series, I’ve always held immense respect for Minato Namikaze—the Fourth Hokage, known as the “Yellow Flash.” He was gentle yet powerful; he sacrificed himself to protect his village, truly embodying the spirit of a hero.

The inspiration for this pen holder is none other than his most iconic white Hokage cloak.

I remember the first time I saw him in the anime as a child—clad in that pristine white robe, with blazing red flames etched across his back. I was utterly awestruck. That wasn’t just a piece of clothing; it was a symbol of unwavering conviction: light, justice, and protection.

So I began to wonder: Could I transform this very essence of “protection” into something I could see and use every day? And thus, the concept for this pen holder was born.

• Tall, stand-up collar design: Recreates the iconic upright collar of the Hokage cloak, lending the pen holder an air of regal authority;
• Armored shoulder structure: Features subtly raised armor-like contours that enhance the three-dimensional effect and prevent the overall design from feeling flat;
• Red flame pattern at the hem: This is the soul of the entire design! I deliberately crafted the flame motif to convey a dynamic, outward-flaring motion, using rich reds to evoke intense heat—almost as if Minato’s chakra is still flowing;
• Forehead protector: Although the pen holder doesn’t have a “head,” I still retained the intricate details of the forehead protector, complete with the unmistakable Konoha symbol—a heartfelt tribute to the Fourth Hokage’s identity.
