Gugu the Skeleton hails from the “Soft, Spirited Realm,” where even the smallest skeletons aren’t cold, rigid bone frames—they’re as soft and bouncy as freshly kneaded glutinous rice balls.

In life, Gugu was a mischievous little rascal who loved sneaking off to hide candy—right up until death. Even in the afterlife, that endearing habit lives on: tucked away inside its round, plump body is a tiny bag of sweets. Legend has it that if you place Gugu on your desk, it’ll quietly help you nibble away at those lingering feelings of unhappiness while you sleep. The next morning, you’ll wake up to find that your mood—and just like Gugu’s little tummy—is round and full of cheerful contentment!

Thanks to its naturally adorable, cuddly demeanor, Gugu isn’t afraid of the dark at all; in fact, it’ll often curl up by your bedside, using its big, round black eyes to chase away nightmares. It’s a little skeleton that only knows how to charm—and never to frighten.
