SG90 Mechanical Gripper

Symmetrical Gear-Driven Mechanism A single SG90 micro servo drives a central gear, while the toothed claw bodies on both sides mesh with each other. As the servo rotates, the gripper opens and closes in perfect synchronization, ensuring smooth and reliable transmission. The left and right claws achieve identical opening and closing amplitudes, allowing this compact device to securely grasp small components.
Modular Quick-Assembly Housing Design A 3D-printed top-and-bottom split housing features built-in centered mounting studs and an adapter plate. The plate includes standard mounting holes, enabling direct attachment to the end effector of various multi-axis robotic arms. This design makes disassembly and replacement exceptionally convenient, while the lightweight PLA body avoids overloading the servo.
STEM‑Inspired DIY Compatible Accessories Standard three‑wire servo wiring ensures seamless compatibility with Arduino, STM32, and other microcontroller platforms for programming and debugging. Ideal for robotics classes in primary and secondary schools or for makers building their own small vehicle‑based grasping modules, this gripper boasts a robust, wear‑resistant structure that delivers maximum practicality when handling building blocks and small parts.
