The upper “feather” section features a radial arrangement, evoking the delicate lightness of a real badminton shuttlecock, while the hexagonal base at the bottom provides stable support and creates a geometric contrast with the shuttlecock’s rounded foot, enhancing its modern aesthetic.

PLA or PETG is recommended. PLA is easy to print and yields a smooth surface, ideal for showcasing fine details; PETG, on the other hand, is tougher and more durable, making it well-suited for storage applications that require long-term use. For the feather portion, tree‑like supports should be added to prevent collapse in overhanging areas; mesh structures can be printed without supports, but parameters will need to be adjusted according to your printer’s capabilities.
Infill density: A fill rate of 20%–30% is suggested—this balances strength with reduced weight, avoiding excessive bottom heaviness that could destabilize the model.
Print orientation: Vertical printing is recommended to allow the feather sections to naturally unfurl upward, minimizing post‑print sanding efforts.
