This is my series of fitness equipment for park communities—the dual-seat side-oscillation machine (cross-joint trainer).

• Prototype Correspondence The prototype for this model is the dual-seat side-oscillation machine (also known as the left–right oscillation machine or pendulum machine), which is the type of equipment where users stand on a footplate, hold the curved handrails with both hands, and swing their bodies from side to side to exercise the hip joints and the lateral muscles of the waist and abdomen.

• Ultra-High Fidelity The model almost exactly replicates, at a 1:1 scale, all the core structures and color schemes of the real equipment:

  • The black main upright column and the curved handrails

  • The yellow footplate, down to the finest details such as the anti-slip grooves on the surface

  • The yellow decorative covers on the top and at the joints

  • The suspended swinging-arm structure, which faithfully reproduces the motion principle of the real equipment

• Mobility and Playability: The two swinging arms of this model are fully movable, allowing them to swing left and right just like the real equipment. As a result, it serves not only as an exquisite desktop display piece but also offers great interactive fun.

  Below are the assembly steps, which are very simple:

  First, prepare all the printed parts and one spool of filament
  First, slide the connecting component of the swinging arm onto the upright column
  Then install the handrail, making sure its orientation is perpendicular to that of the swinging arm. Finally, tighten the top nut.
  Align the footplate with the bottom hole of the swinging arm and insert the filament, applying a drop of glue at each end of the filament.
  Once the swinging arm is installed, simply tighten the nut.
