At my wife’s request, I made a little figurine that shakes its legs to put in the car.

Assembly requires two 10-mm-long filaments to connect the hands and the body; the fit will be rather tight, so you’ll need to apply some force to insert them, which will allow the hands to strike a few poses.

I couldn’t find a suitable model, so I had to draw one myself.

The design is fully modular; the leg-shaking feature requires spring hardware, but nothing else.

Here’s the spring I used—it was longer than necessary for initial testing. In practice, a 20-mm length works fine, or you can buy a longer spring and trim it down as needed.

I haven’t tested other standard spring types yet, so I look forward to feedback and suggestions from everyone. For simple holes, you can just use Boolean operations to subtract cylindrical parts from the main model.

Printing Tips:
1. Clean the print bed before printing to ensure strong adhesion; consider using a glass bed and prioritize official, dried filament materials.
2. Be sure to apply adhesive when assembling parts to ensure a strong bond and seamless fit.
3. The default settings are optimized for PLA filament; if you’re using silk, marble, PETG, or other filaments, you’ll need to reconfigure the slicing parameters accordingly.
