Design Concept
This desktop rocket launcher is designed to simulate a basic pneumatic propulsion system, making it ideal for educational and recreational purposes. It makes an excellent tabletop toy.
Features
It is an engaging interactive model that demonstrates how compressed air can be used to propel simple objects such as toy rockets. Suitable for classroom use, science fairs, or as a hobbyist’s desktop toy.
Printing Recommendations
For optimal results, we recommend using PLA or ABS filament and setting a higher layer resolution. You can also choose your preferred color scheme when printing.
Assembly Instructions
The power unit should be securely attached to the base and the bottom of the piston using double-sided tape or glue. The launcher assembly is straightforward: simply fasten the components to the launch rack using the included screws and nuts. The model also requires an air-delivery tube—either silicone tubing or PVC pipe—with an inner diameter of approximately 5–8 mm. Keep the tube as short and narrow as possible to minimize energy loss. To operate, insert the model missile into the launch tube and quickly press the piston to propel the missile outward at high speed.
