This is my original, retro record-player–style hand-crank music box.

The model is compatible with standard hand-crank music-box movements, as shown in the following image.

Some parts of the model require glue assembly; please refer to the installation steps in the next image.

1. Secure the movement with screws. 2. Attach the decorative panel to the middle-ring groove using glue, making sure the chamfered edge faces inward. 3. Bond the middle ring to the base using glue.

1. Cut a length of filament and insert it into the top plate’s hole. 2. Assemble the record and slide it into place. 3. Position the remaining small components.

Attach a decorative panel to the center of the horn, then snap the upper section into the middle ring—installation complete.

When purchasing a hand-crank music-box movement, remember to secure the mounting screws.
