Switch Conversion Box—Turns a Single-Pole Switch into a Base-Mounted Switch
1. Inspiration
Addressing the pain points of single-pole switches—namely their crude design and difficulty in secure mounting—we leveraged the advantages of 3D printing to develop a switch conversion box. This allows ordinary single-pole switches to be upgraded to a base-mounted configuration by embedding the original switch within the box, thereby eliminating the hassle associated with traditional switch retrofits.

2. Core Function
The box enables the transformation of a single-pole switch into a base-mounted design, while preserving the existing wiring and power supply infrastructure. By separating the switch body from the base, it allows for quick replacement of the faceplate or integration of functional modules, making circuit modifications more flexible and convenient and enhancing the switch’s reusability.
