The most amazing thing is that the 13 round carved animals inside will rotate with the water waves, and their rotating shaft support is only 1.5mm in diameter (hand rubbed! ! !), How exquisite craftsmanship was more than two thousand years ago!

Therefore, the focus of this re-carving is to make this group of life continue to revive and continue, and at the same time, local adjustments have been made to fatten the two hyperbolic hornosaurs on the basin wall, making it a circulating water feature that lasts forever.

The original is 45cm in diameter and 18cm high. For 3D printing design, the overall scale of this model is scaled to 25CM in diameter

The data is limited, only the model is drawn against the picture, and the proportion is slightly deviated. At the same time, some details of the characteristics of the 3D printer are increased to make it easy to print. However, time is limited and many details are still unfinished. Please fill them in one after another.

At the beginning of the model design, it was considered to restore the integrity of the re-engraving to the greatest extent, so the disassembly and assembly method was abandoned as much as possible to reduce the damage to the appearance of the splicing seam, and the luxury selection of special supporting consumables or water-soluble supports was used as auxiliary (roughly calculated that the supporting materials consumed about 100 grams, which is not too much of a loser). Because it is used as a waterscape and considers the overall waterproofness, it is simple and rough to decide that all accessories are glued to prevent leakage, and it is also possible to paint old colors and properly spray waterproof coating in the later period.

This model involves the adjustment of print settings and the installation of combined gluing. It requires some operation experience and practical ability. It may be set more for beginners. It is recommended to choose local trial play according to the specific situation. . .

Printing can also be completed using the default data, with slight defects in the support, but the basic design is not obvious at the bottom.

Because it involves arc-shaped modeling, if the situation permits, drape printing and flow calibration testing of the selected materials before printing can make the finished product appearance more secure.

Personally, I think the use of slightly eroded and slightly soluble adhesive or AB glue to bond water parts can effectively prevent leakage. If water-based glue such as ordinary 502 is used, it is recommended to glue many times to prevent leakage.

In order to simply distinguish the explanation, the model is divided into 9 plates, you can choose the appropriate combination of printing.

The 4th and 5th disks use different support methods for the same model. One directly uses the system to generate support (using special support consumables or different kinds of consumables as support), and the other uses modeling support to reduce printing time, and the bottom of the finished product will have defects (after printing, the triangular support can be directly broken off and slightly polished with sandpaper, and cannot be seen after installation)

If you want to save printing time, you can use this printing with triangle support plate. After printing, you can remove all these triangles and polish them a little. After installation, you can't see the rough defects behind them.

Regarding the printing setting options for the inner wall of the basin, I personally feel that the top surface pattern setting options are more consistent with the texture produced by using the Hilbert curve, that is, the printing time will increase by one or two hours (you can judge for yourself)

Installation method:

Invert the largest outer ring, and the two most protruding slots are the positions of the water spouts of the water spouts on both sides.

Inverting the cover of the chassis, first put it into the basin inner container to adjust the position, and align the position of the two clamping strips with the position of the sink.

1. After the water trough is stuck in the right position, the bottom part of the connection is glued and pressed and fixed first, and the water tanks on both sides are treated in the same way.

2. Since the arc positions of the inner and outer layers are affected by different printing contractions, the gaps may be large and small, and the gaps are filled with glue in several times.

Hyperbolic hornosaurus only needs to cut a small section of printing consumables for slotting, and both sides need to be aligned with glue. The slotting need not be too long, about 3 or 4mm (purely for auxiliary installation and positioning). The edge of the groove used for running water on the inner side must be evenly coated with glue to prevent leakage. (The above water-passing parts are preferably bonded and sealed with AB glue. Please choose carefully according to your proficiency.)

After the assembly is completed, the Shuanglong interface is evenly glued and installed into the water trough, and then the water pipe joint at the bottom is also glued and sealed,

At the same time, the water storage tank and the drainage interface at the bottom can be installed first (this step can also be installed later)

After the glue is dry, connect the water pump to test the water, and check whether there is any water seepage point. It is recommended to wrap the water adhesive tape before connecting the water pipe (suitable for water pipe with inner diameter of 8mm)

If you find a leak point, please make an appropriate leak repair.

After the above is completed, install the left and right two large disk outer walls, and fix them with glue after the positions are aligned.

There are actually two ways to print the outer wall. The document is accompanied by a simple and crude support method. This printing relies on the support generated by the system to achieve a relatively balanced model, and there will be slight defects in the support connection position (the base will be covered and invisible after installation); The other is to print directly flat, rely on special support consumables or water-soluble support consumables and adjust printing parameters (or use suspension printing to reduce speed and increase extrusion flow, which requires detailed testing and debugging. The equipment cannot be used universally)

The three tiger support feet are simply and roughly installed directly in alignment with the base. (I really didn't expect how to achieve more stable load-bearing and installation in compliance with the original. The supporting force of metal is really plastic that can't be completely engraved. You are welcome to put forward optimization suggestions.)

Install the underlay to the bottom of the basin.

Special Note: 13 round carvings must be filled with 100% after repeated tests and printing, otherwise water buoyancy will easily lead to inability to rotate.

The 13 round carving models are all modeled in accordance with this principle, but considering the accuracy and strength of the printing equipment, we have to choose the method of enlarging the rotating shaft and the integrated printing of the bearing and the round carving (the feeling is not as good as that of the ancients. . . Shame to the ancestors), so printing settings and disassembly are slightly difficult.

The optimal solution is, of course, to use water-soluble support printing, but it is not impossible to choose one-time printing without switching consumables (the main support contact positions are all at the bottom, and the defects are not obvious). However, care must be taken not to break the rotating shaft and remove the excess brim connection at the bottom when removing the support. After removing the rotating shaft, gently rotate the rotating shaft to prevent the consumables from sticking due to suspension (a small probability when testing a variety of materials).

After all round carvings are printed and removed, insert and install them one by one according to the hole positions of the inner container (it can be fixed by adding some glue appropriately, or it may be difficult to insert due to printing shrinkage deviation, just slightly reaming and polishing with tools). Pay attention to the strength and angle during installation to prevent breaking the rotating shaft! ! !

There is an inscription on the inner wall of the original, which was originally intended to be changed into a drainage channel, but it was too thin after the proportion was reduced (the ancient craftsmen were invincible by hand! ! !), Let's find a way to realize it later!

Originally, another water pump was designed to make waterfall running water out of the hand, but the water pump on the hand was not strong enough to be tested, only to be added later.
